Armungia is a small village in southeastern Sardinia, perched on a hill 366 meters above sea level in the heart of the Gerrei. Its ancient origins intertwine with the Nuragic civilization, medieval Sardinian history, and twentieth-century events. The village still preserves stone architecture, an urban layout of bixinaus (ancient neighborhoods), historic squares, museums, and places of remembrance.
